Winemaker's Details Recommendations:

We wanted to make a Rose that had colour, body and rich ripe flavours. The best Rose can be enjoyed on its own and equally with food. The combining of these three traditional red varieties is the 'secret' to this wine. Creating layers of flavour and a surprising complexity for such a wine. All three parcels were combined immediately after fermentation and we intentionally bottled the wine with a minimum delay, to ensure a bright freshness in style.

Cellaring:

Enjoy this 2005 Classic Rose today. How often do we get the opportunity to enjoy a red wine the year of vintage? The sealing of the wine with the Stelvin closure will ensure it's integrity until the time you choose to enjoy it.

Drinking Recommendations:

This is a fresh bright wine that should be enjoyed on a variety of occasions. Enjoy it as an aperitif or in fact celebrate the 'Summer of 2004' with a long chilled glass at sunset. However, where you will really appreciate this Rose is with the best of foods.

My suggestion .... Fettuccini with fresh crab meat a douse of the wine, lots of garlic, shallots, heap of Italian Parsley and shaved Parmesan.
