Winemaker's Details Recommendations:
Made from a selected 'reserve' parcel of fruit fully ripened and picked at night in late February. The juice was 50% fermented in new French Oak barriques while 25% was allowed to naturally commence a malolactic ferment.
Rounded & vivacious in character this wine exhibits magnificent ripe tropical flavours of guava and melon with the slightes hint of butterscotch on the finish. The slightest nuances of oak vanillans exhibit the soft and subtle integration of oak and fruit.
Grape Variety & Region:
100% Chardonnay (Hunter Valley)
Drinking Recommendation:
This Chardonnay will go with just about anything. Oriental, Seafood, Pasta, Red Meat or a slice of the best Cheddar.
