New Release 2005 Bluegrass Shiraz
2005 looks like it is going to be a special vintage. Many reds are looking spectacular after having time in barrel and bottle.
This Shiraz is the first of our 2005 Red Releases and it just shows you how good this vintage year may be.
This wine is a sumptuous blend of Shiraz fruit from Langhorne Creek and the Hunter Valley. Both grape crops were from low yielding acreages and show wonderful underlying flavour and intense richness. Make no mistake this Shiraz is a true ‘food wine’ and while sizeable in weight it still has lovely subtle savory nuances and a smooth long finish.
This 2005 Bluegrass Shiraz is a wine with a difference. To our knowledge we are the only wine makers in this fine land that has seen the light in blending Hunter and Langhorne Shiraz fruit………why we don’t know, as the sum of the two parts are a wonderful surprise and offers something very new for the wine lover. Give your palate ‘a sense of new’ and enjoy a bottle of this Shiraz while stocks last.
This wine has been deliberately held back in our cellar for it to be enjoyed to its utmost on release. This wine is drinking beautifully on the month of release, however, it will also reward those who give it a little patient cellaring.
We are exclusively offering those within our Equus Membership a special introductory price for Cellar2U purchases, throughout February. This saves you $84.00 per case.
